Sorry to everyone of my two fans!

Sorry that the blog hasn't been updated in several months. Life just sort of keeps happening, you know? And with my spacebar being broken after an incident with some milk, writing these days isn't as easy as it used to be. But I promise sometime soon i'll update the information on the site. In the meantime, here's a preview of the things that are to come:

-Fancy new links to my most recently published works

-an update to the "What?" page which will include the work I did at Teen Voices this past summer and liiiiiiinks to my once upon a time "radio show", as it is so referred, smack dab on the interwebs!

-New book ideas!

-More art! The collection of artwork in my humungo-sketchpad that has been collecting dust for all these months will finally be unearthed and unveiled to the general public, including but not limited to:

Musings on Hair: Side Parts

I have attached, for your pupils' enjoyment, the most beautiful side part that has ever existed ever on the face of planets across the galaxy, that of my future husband, Matt Smith

Today, while riding on the train on my way to work, I began to amuse myself by once again imagining how swagilicious life will be when I turn 16. As the big day is coming up, I have begun imagining how my sweet sixteen party should look. After adding the mental image of a moped-shaped object covered entirely in wrapping paper with a big red bow (yes, please) to my mind-vision, I began to think about how fabulous I will look with my newly-pierced nose which I plan to get either following or just before my b-day. From there, I began, while staring at my reflection in the train window, to mentally debate whether the piercing would look better on the right or left side of my face. I easily concluded that I should have it on the left. Then I began to wonder what so strongly compelled me to choose this side of my face for self-mutilation, and noticed how the piercing would balance out the symmetry of my side part and that's why it made sense to put it there. As the result of this long, superfluous and completely unnecessary description of my weird brain process, I then started to think about what makes people part their hair on one or the other side of their head. I began looking at the hair of people on the train and noticed that most people seemed to part their hair to the left, as pictured above. So, this brings me to the question:

What phsycological law governs hair-parting?
Is sexuality a factor?
Do people tend to part their hair in a certain direction more often in some regions than others?
Is there a difference within religions and races?
Do liberals part their hair differently than conservatives?

THESE are the questions people should be asking! They should do a case study on this. It would be easy cause they wouldn't even have to stop people and ask questions, they could just take a head count. (And yes, pun most definitely intended)

Musings on Who: Does The Doctor Age?

For the past few days, my whovian friends and I have been grappling with the question: does The Doctor age? Without (much) research, here's my thinking on the subject:

1) The first doctor is old!
He couldn't have just popped out an old man! His baby carriage is shown in one episode, and in another episode it actually shows him as a child (And his face is far from that of a grandpa)!

2) However, the Doctor's age fluctuates around 1000 (More on that in another post) but in the Impossible Astronaut, we see The Doctor in his Matt Smith regeneration as both 1103 and 909 (Not to get off track, but this is a huge inconsistency with the 7th doctor's claim of being 953, although of course The Doctor lies, so Who knows(<-- eh? eh? Did you catch that one? :D)?(God, this is a disaster of punctuation.(And yes,I'm putting () in () in ()(Oh, my silly brain!))).

Anyhoo, The fourth Doctor at one point stated that he was 407, meaning that, at the least, each of the four first doctors lived for about 100 years, and (although clearly not true), the first doctor would have at most been able to exist for 400 years. So if the eleventh doctor existed for at least 200 years, but doesn't look like he aged more than a year, how could the first doctor have gone from a baby to an old man in 400 years tops?

3) River ages

River was a little girl when she was playmates with her parents, Rory and Amy, and she is seen to have grown up with them. Of course, River isn't Gallifreyan, so the rules may be different for her (Posing yet another question... is River considered a timelord? Is the ability to regenerate all that is required to be called a timelord, or is there more to it?) Alone, this could just be a little one of Doctor Who's many wonderful little inconsistencies, but it poses a huge question.

Does the Doctor age?

What do you think?
